I’m not a huge country music fan – but my girlfriend is. Last night at dinner she began to hyperventilate when I casually mentioned the entertainment lineup for Sage Summit 2012 (August 12-17,2012) in Nashville TN.
If there’s one thing I love it’s attending live informal music shows. The local Mohegan Sun Wolf Den has featured acts like Eddie Money, 38 Special, Starship, Dennis DeYoung, Lou Gramm, Loverboy. These performers all played to small intimate crowds where the song set was looser and there was no problem seeing the stage.
I hadn’t realized it before – but these are all big country names. Each writing #1 hits, authoring #1 hits — or winning awards multiple years in a row.
Up close. Personal. Private show. And these folks are all playing together – which means due to time constraints you’ll be able to hear their top hits and there’s no endless extended versions of songs like you might get from a water throwing one hit wonder .
Happening Wednesday August 16, 2012 at the Grand Ole Opry.
Probably a must see for country live music fans . Sage partners can attend by extending their Summit conference to include customer days ($200 – which for country fans is a bargain seeing as good seats for a July 2012 show for Trace Adkins alone are fetching up to $300 at Grand Ole Opry).
