The first thing you should do after checking into Sage Summit is stick that nasty assed remote control into a zip lock bag.
Sadly the remote control only rates as the third dirtiest thing thing you can touch in a hotel room.
A recent study found that main light switches had 111.1 CFU for aerobic bacteria, while the telephone key pad had 20.2 CFU. Researchers collected samples from 19 surfaces in three hotel rooms in three states – Texas, Indiana and South Carolina. And, when it came to fecal bacteria, the main light switch came out worst with an alarming 111.1 CFU.
The lowest levels of contamination were found on bed headboards, curtain rods and bathroom door handles.
