In a move seemingly designed to extend their firm’s geographical reach – Sage partner SWK Technologies announced they’re in the process of buying Sage partner Information Systems Management, Inc. (ISM).
Terms of the sale were not disclosed although ISM is stated to be on track to book $ 6 million dollars in 2012 and SWK Technologies planning for at least $10.5 million of their own revenues. Add in an earlier Sage partner acquisition, Hightower , Inc, which is expected to add $ 3 million and SWK Technologies could be approaching $20 million and would place them as one of the top 4 Sage partners ranked by revenues.
With total projected revenues of $20 million SWK might move from #35 to about #15 on the VAR 100 listing of technology companies serving the ERP market.
After the acquisition SWK Technologies could trail three other predominately Sage centric partners – Net@Work at $ 32 million and # 7 on the list , Blytheco at $ 24 million and # 10 on the list and ADSS Global at $21.75 million and # 14 on the VAR 100 list .
