Paige Erickson, VP Partner Strategy & Programs Departs Sage North America

paige_ericksonSage have announced that Paige Erickson, VP of Partner Strategy and Programs will depart Sage effective September 2, 2016.

Sage EVP Sales and Partner Programs Nancy Harris assumes the role of Interim Head of Partner Programs until a replacement is named.

Erickson arrived in October 2015 just after Rich Spring who joined as Chief Revenue Officer in April 2015.  By all appearances, she was slated to work closely with Spring on revamping the revenue and channel fortunes of Sage North America. Spring lasted until January 2016 when he unexpectedly departed and subsequently reappeared at Seal Software as SVP Worldwide Field Operations.

In the interim Erickson seemed to have been left in somewhat of limbo. She had been active in the partner community and both she and Rich Spring seemed to have been well received by the channel. However Sage never positioned her front and center with the channel.

For some reason, Sage never positioned Paige Erickson front and center with the channel and her lack of prominent exposure at events led many to privately wonder whether her time at Sage might be limited.

This departure leaves some question about the structure of Sage Channel Management in light of the new Global Channel program outlined at Sage Summit 2017.
