According to a well placed industry source SugarCRM VP of Partner Enablement Geoff Ashley has departed SugarCRM. You’ll recall he joined about a year ago from SAP with colleague Dawn Jaeger (who I hear remains at SugarCRM). Further updates as I learn about them.
Recently departed SAP Director of Business Development Geoff Ashley has surfaced rather quickly at SugarCRM. Based on his updated LinkedIN profile he has become the VP in chart of Partner Enablement at SugarCRM.
From the company web site:
SugarCRM, based out of Cupertino CA and founded in 2004 has 150 employees and is the world’s leading provider of open source customer relationship management (CRM) software. Over 7,000 customers and more than half a million users rely on SugarCRM to execute marketing programs, grow sales, retain customers and create custom business applications.
Bob Scott of Bob Scott’s Insights previously spoken to Kevin Gilroy, the VP who heads North American recruitment for SAP ByDesign who characterized the simultaneous departure of both Geoff Ashley and Dawn Jaeger, Sr. Channel Development Manager, as “normal attrition”.
Word is that Dawn might also be joining Geoff at SugarCRM though her LinkedIn has yet to confirm .
I hear that SAP’s Atlanta based Sr. Channel Development Manager, SAP Business ByDesign Dawn Jaeger left SAP as of about a week ago. In her capacity with SAP she was tasked with recruiting partners to represent SAP’s relatively new ByDesign SaaS offering.
Prior to joining SAP Dawn was with Infor and Navision in similar capacities.
She reportedly made the announcement channel-wide although her LinkedIn profile still indicates she is with SAP.
According to two sources she may not be the last of SAP’s North American ByDesign channel team to depart – though their destination is not yet known. Continue reading “Is SAP Business ByDesign Channel Management In Disarray?”
